Clear the room, make a new Room Key, or email us.

Do it yourself

1. On Scribe, tap Clear. That empties the current room message (and ends a Pro photo or album play on the Reader).
2. On Reader, make a new Room Key. The old room is abandoned. Do not give the old key out.
3. Uninstall the app on each phone. That removes local settings and the Scribe ID on that device. It does not wipe a room another phone still uses.

Email reynoldtech@gmail.com. Say you mean Hi Mom and that you want data deleted.

Do not send a Room Key unless you intend that we can open that room. We cannot see a room without the key.

What is deleted or kept

• Current room message, room settings, and last-seen stamps go away when the room is cleared or abandoned.
• We do not keep a chat history. The cloud holds the current text only.
• There is no Hi Mom account to close.
• Optional Pro Google Drive files stay in your Google account until you remove them there.
• Google Play keeps its own records if you later buy Pro. We only keep enough to know whether Pro is active on a Scribe ID.

There is no 90-day auto-delete. A room lasts until someone Clears, makes a new Room Key, or we delete it after you ask (if you gave us the key).
