Campfire Tales — delete your data

Delete the tale, remove the Drive file, or email us.

Do it yourself

On the Creator list, delete the tale. While Confirm before delete is on, the phone asks first. That removes the tale on this phone. It does not remove a copy someone else already saved.
To remove a sent file from your Google Drive, use Keep Drive Clean, or Clean Drive. Clean Drive asks first and removes every tale file this app put in the Campfire Tales folder. You can also delete the file in Google Drive. Tales on this phone stay.
Unlink in Settings forgets the Google account on this phone. It does not delete files on Drive.
Uninstall the app. That removes tales and settings on that phone, including the random id used for Pro. A Drive file stays until you remove it.

Do not send a tale link unless you intend that we can open that tale. We cannot see a tale without the link.

A tale you delete, or a phone you uninstall, loses that copy.
A file removed from Drive is gone from Drive. Someone who already saved a copy still has that copy.
There is no Campfire Tales account to close.
Google Play keeps its own records if you bought Pro. We only keep enough to know whether Pro is active for the random id on that phone. Uninstalling removes that id from the phone.

There is no automatic delete of tales on the phone. A sent Drive file is removed on a timer only when Keep Drive Clean is on.
