What is Campfire Tales?

One app. Creator makes a tale on the phone. Reader plays a tale. A tale can be a picture or a clip, a line, and a tap or a choice.

How do I send a tale?

Link Google Drive in Settings first. Send uploads this tale, then shows a code and a Share button. Share sends an https://reynoldtech.com/t/ link. The code is a campfiretales:// link. Both open the same tale. A new send makes a new link. The receiver does not sign in.

How do I open a tale?

Paste the link, tap it in a message, or scan the code. You do not sign in. The copy you save is yours. If the sender later deletes their Drive file, your copy stays.

If the app is not installed yet, install it and paste the link into Get a tale.

What does the website do with the link?

The reynoldtech.com/t/ page opens the app. It does not store the tale or the key.

What is Keep Drive Clean?

When it is on, a sent tale is removed from the sender's Drive after 1, 3, 7, or 30 days. It starts at 7. Cleanup runs the next time the sender opens the app. A tale someone already saved stays.

Clean Drive removes every tale file this app put in the Campfire Tales folder. It asks first. Tales on this phone stay.

Is there an account?

No Campfire Tales account. Google sign-in is only for the sender's Drive, and for an optional Pro purchase on Google Play.

What is Pro?

Optional. Basic holds 12 pages in a tale and up to 2 choices on a page. Pro removes the page limit and allows up to 5 choices. Sending works without Pro. Google Play handles the purchase.
